Family martial arts in Christchurch, all under one roof
Inception Academy of Martial Arts is a family dojo in the proper sense. Siblings train alongside each other in age-grouped classes, parents train in the Senior class, and the family discount lets multiple children from the same household share the membership rate. Same values, same dojo, same coaching team, every Monday and Thursday at Te Hapua: Halswell Centre.

What we offer
Inside the curriculum
IAMA runs as a family dojo by design. Class times are scheduled consecutively so a family with children in different age groups makes one trip rather than three. Adults can train Seniors alongside their teen kids. The values curriculum is consistent across every class so a parent and a child are speaking the same language about Calmness, Self-Regulation, and Courage. The family rate makes multi-child households genuinely affordable.
