Before you arrive

What to Expect

Your first class at Inception Academy

What to Wear

Comfortable sports clothing you can move freely in. Trackpants and a t-shirt work well. Training is done in bare feet on the mat. A BJMA gi (uniform) is only needed once you decide to join.

Arrive Early

Please arrive 10 minutes before the session. This gives time to get settled, meet the instructors, and for your child to feel comfortable before training starts.

Parents Welcome

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to watch from the viewing area. It helps your child settle in, and gives you a clear picture of what the training looks like each week.

What Happens in Class

Your child joins the regular class alongside enrolled students. The instructor will introduce them and include them in all activities. It is a full, real session, not a watered-down introduction.
