What we offer
Inside the curriculum
Halswell families have access to the full BJMA Zen Do Kai Freestyle curriculum at IAMA: striking, grappling, weapons familiarisation, Krav Maga self-defence, and contact sparring at age-appropriate levels. Equally important, the dojo runs an explicit values curriculum across belt levels, drawing on Dr. Matt Walley's PhD research in cognitive psychology. The result is a children's programme that builds physical capability and psychological character together, taught at the same Halswell venue every Monday and Thursday.
